Studio

Cox + Jones is an architecture practice founded by Alex Cox and Nina Jones in Falmouth, Cornwall. We design thoughtful, characterful buildings that respond closely to landscape, climate, material and the people who use them.

Our work is rooted in Cornwall, but our outlook is broader, drawing inspiration from the architecture and landscapes of the Atlantic edge: Cornwall, Wales, Ireland, Brittany, Galicia and beyond.

We are interested in buildings that feel as though they belong to their place. Architecture that is contemporary without being placeless, carefully detailed without becoming precious, and made from materials that gain character with age.
